Are you TikToking?

In Australia, business should now be rocking along and back to normal after our month long break over the festive period.

What have you put in place to make your 2020 incredible?

What are you going to change-up or try to reach you customers/clients in a new way?

I suggest TikTok.

TikTok is the newest social media platform that is trending like crazy at the moment. I suggest you sign up and test ways it can be effective for your business.

Many of you think this platform is just for teenagers, wrong!

There are millions of people on this platform who are over 30 and a tonne of businesses jumping onto the platform for business.

Right now, it's a land-grab. A land-grab is literally the process of building your profile in an organic way whilst it's free and under rapid growth.

So, how do you use it?  1. Sign up 2. Create your profile name and set your bio 3. Start creating content 4. Use the key hash tags to increase your reach 5. Follow others 6. Post daily

Let's break those steps down:  Sign Up Head to your app store and download the app. Look for the logo in the image above.

Create your profile If your branding your account for business, use a business name. If you are branding for yourself, use your personal name. Write a short a descriptive one sentence bio that is catchy and informs people about the solution your business provides.

Start creating content Give yourself a minimum of 40 hours to play around and learn the platform before casting judgement. In this time, share the things you are creating. You can create a video given tips, showcase a product, participate in trending dances or even share a video you have created on a separate platform.

Use the key hash tags Hash tags are the way you posts get seen in TikTok. Commonly used hash tags include #foryou #foryoupage #tiktok #foryoupage #fyp #foryou #viral #love #funny #memes

Follow others By clicking the red plus symbol the hovers underneath someones profile picture in the general screen, you can follow other people.

Post daily As mentioned above, a minimum 40 hours of personal time spent learning any platform is required before you should dismiss it. So, get posting and have some fun.

Remember- Social media platforms are FREE MARKETING. Use them to your maximum benefit and get posting.
